REMOVAL GUIDE
How to remove nail wraps gently
Gentle removal protects the surface of the natural nail. Set aside enough time and resist the urge to peel a wrap off in one movement. Start by checking the product instructions because adhesive systems can vary.
Loosen a small edge without digging into the nail. Apply the recommended remover or a suitable oil around the lifted area, then wait and work slowly across the nail. Add more product and pause whenever you meet resistance. A wooden manicure stick can help only when used gently and kept away from sore skin.
Do not scrape the nail plate, force a firmly attached section or use excessive heat. After the wrap releases, remove remaining residue as directed, wash and dry your hands, and moisturise the surrounding skin if appropriate.
If a nail is damaged, painful or irritated, stop. Give it time without another wrap and seek professional advice when symptoms persist. Good removal is unhurried removal.
